Yes. Choose Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 as the report type. Level 2 adds the Interior Spaces section and a Video Scan section for camera inspections. Checklist wording references NFPA 211 and the appliance manufacturer’s requirements.

Yes. Send a private customer link. The homeowner reviews the report on their phone, downloads the PDF and signs to acknowledge it. You can see when it was viewed and signed. You can also collect a signature on the job in person.

Yes. Dryer vent is a system type in the inspection, and Explain has a 3D Dryer Vent lab showing lint buildup, crushed transition duct and blocked hoods.

Explain has eleven interactive 3D labs (masonry chimney, factory-built chimney, stove and connector, wood insert, gas insert, gas systems, gas venting, direct vent, house pressure, dryer vent and CO safety) with about 130 scenes. Measure the fireplace opening, depth, back wall and flue. The insert finder searches a catalog of 505 wood, gas and pellet inserts and lists the ones that fit, with BTU, heating area, liner size and the installation manual (on file for 502 of them). Add the insert to the estimate in one tap.

The 3-2-10 rule (IRC R1003.9) says a chimney must extend at least 3 feet above where it passes through the roof and at least 2 feet higher than any part of the building within 10 feet. ChimSuite’s 3-2-10 calculator takes chimney height, roof pitch and optional distance to the ridge, and tells you whether it passes and how much taller it needs to be.

ChimChat is ChimSuite’s AI assistant for chimney pros. It answers installation, clearance, venting and troubleshooting questions from about 19,000 manufacturer manuals and shows page citations you can open. Always verify against the manual and your local code before acting.

Yes. Inspections, measurements and notes save on the device and sync when you are back online. Voice notes recorded without signal are kept and typed in later, the insert catalog is cached on the device, and PDFs can be built on the device.

Yes. A company admin connects Housecall Pro, Jobber or Workiz in Settings. Jobs come into ChimSuite, and finished reports go back to the job. Other systems can connect with inbound webhooks.
